Pajama Day and Read Across America....

We were pleasantly surprised when Dale returned home from his most recent TDY early last Wednesday night. The girls were ecstatic! We have had quite a bit of "Daddy time' this weekend, as he is leaving again shortly for a 90 day deployment. After church on Sunday the girls wanted a pajama day, so we were happy to comply! We read books, played Wii, and sang karaoke all weekend! And we went to the Bury market also...fun, fun! There was also some applying of make-up (see above)....my girly girls! :)

Today there was a Read Across America program at the girls school to celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday. Logan tried out for a speaking part to represent one of the 50 states and she got a part! The state she represented was Pennsylvania and her line was "I learned to read in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania!" She did so good! The whole school (including Maci) sang songs and brought a book with them as their "ticket" for the ride...Maci was staring at Logan and just grinning! Such sweet sisters!
